Maryanne’s musings: I had the idea in my head for this one for a while so when I sat down to draw it, it all came together pretty fast. But I did decide to do some pretty big changes once the colouring was done. It’s so much easier to make changes in the early stages, but when something bothers me, there’s usually no overlooking it.  There’s still things I’d like to tweak now. A redraw of the riding helmet would be worthwhile… STOP IT 😉

I made the rider’s outfit match the horse’s gear and saddlepad.  I think the horse fashionistas are winning me over to their cause.
