Maryanne’s musing: Jackson hurt his eye a while back and needed eye drops three times a day, plus eye gel, plus a powder in his food.
Thankfully his eye came good, but it’s a mystery how he hurt it. Luckily he’s a really good patient. Very strong eyelids though! My goodness, it was tricky trying to prise his eyelids apart. I watched a lot of Youtube clips to hone up on tips. Food bribery was probably the most successful! 😀

I hope it’s kind of obvious that the guy in this one is a vet. I was going to write “VET” on his shirt but there’s a lot going on in that panel as it is, so I left it.
